In our leisure we reveal what kind of people we are.



People who live in the District of Columbia-Maryland-Virginia metropolitan area, called the DMV, are a diverse group. While it is impossible to categorize people, we’ll update you periodically on some of our most interesting picks for entertainment:


The National Museum of African American History and Culture. This museum illustrates the quintessential American story through the perspective of African Americans.   EVERYONE can enjoy and learn something from this experience.   It is such a hot ticket that timed passes are sold out until March, 2017.  You can still get passes if you don’t mind waiting outside. The tickets are free. The site for scheduled tickets is as follows:


2. o-st-mansion
O Street Mansion – This luxury boutique hotel is located in the Dupont Circle historic district of Washington D.C. Rooms rent from $350- $1250. It ialso noted for its eccentric interior styling that includes hidden doors, secret passages and rooms where the furnishings and fixtures are for sale.  For the best prices to tour the mansion (prices start at about $20), get tickets through Groupon.


Sax Restaurant and Lounge, located in downtown Washington, DC is a restaurant with a Moulin Rouge ambiance and continuous live entertainment. It has been described as ballet meets burlesque meets Cirque de Soleil. On Sundays, Sax hosts a brunch featuring SIR, an all male burlesque show. Get your tickets through Eventbrite.
